Seamless transition from winter to summer, down jackets are not put away yet and we have to wear them again? A new cold wave is coming

Recently, with a "super warming", many parts of the country have seen "rocket-like" temperature rises, with most areas experiencing cumulative temperature rises of more than 10°C . However, today (from March 1), a new cold wave is coming , which will bring a "dive-like" cooling to central and eastern China, and there will be widespread rain and snow.

The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning for cold waves at 06:00 on March 1:

Affected by the cold wave, it is expected that from 08:00 on March 1 to 20:00 on March 4, the temperature in central and eastern my country will drop by 6-10℃ from north to south, among which the southern part of North China and most areas to the south will drop by 12-16℃, and some areas will drop by more than 18℃; on the morning of the 4th, the minimum temperature of 0℃ will be pushed south to the area from Jianghan to Yanhuai. In addition, the northern and western parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau will drop by 6-10℃.

Among them, it is predicted that from 08:00 on March 1 to 08:00 on March 3, most parts of Northeast China, central and southern North China, most parts of Huanghuai, western Jianghuai, Jianghan, western Jiangnan, as well as northern and western Qinghai-Tibet Plateau will experience a drop in temperature by 6-8°C. Among them, parts of eastern Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, southern North China, central and western Huanghuai, Jianghan, western Jiangnan and other places will experience a drop in temperature by 10-12°C, and the local drop in temperature may reach more than 14°C.

During this widespread rain and snow weather

There are three key "most"

The heaviest precipitation period : 20:00 on the 1st to 20:00 on the 2nd

The heaviest precipitation area - from the eastern part of Jianghan to the Huaihe River area - can reach a cumulative precipitation of 40 to 60 mm, an intensity rarely seen during the same period.

Areas with the most complex precipitation phases : As the temperature drops, from March 1 to 3, **it may rain first and then turn to snow in Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Shandong, Hubei, Anhui, and Jiangsu. **Especially in the area between the Yellow River and the Huai River, due to the warm atmosphere in the early stage, a large amount of unstable energy has accumulated, and the subsequent southward movement of cold air will trigger obvious severe convective weather.

The temperature dropped suddenly

Strengthen warming work in time

Pay attention to the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor

Add clothes frequently

Don’t forget that “spring cover” is important!

"Spring cover" emphasizes that when the seasons change, do not suddenly reduce the clothes, but gradually adjust according to the temperature to ensure that the body has enough time to adjust to the temperature changes and enhance resistance.

Especially the elderly, children and people with weak constitutions still need to keep warm when the temperature is lower in the morning and evening, and pay special attention to the neck, waist and feet which are prone to cold.

The most practical dressing rule is the " onion dressing method ":

Inner layer: Choose soft, breathable and sweat-wicking cotton or thermal underwear or autumn clothes.

Middle layer: Wear sweaters, hoodies and other clothes.

Outer layer: Choose a light jacket or windbreaker or vest.

In addition, rain, snow, and cold snaps can easily cause slippery roads and icy roads. Be careful when going out. In particular, although there is no snow on many roads, there is a thin layer of ice. This situation is the most easily overlooked and the most likely to cause slips. Try to reduce the use of electric vehicles and bicycles, and choose to walk or use public transportation. If you need to ride a bicycle, you need to deflate the tires to increase the friction between the tires and the ground. Choose a flat road with no water, no ice, and a shallow snow layer. Avoid emergency braking and sharp turns to prevent skidding.
