On August 27, the 2104 Internet Conference and the First China Smart TV Industry Development Summit hosted by TCL.com was grandly held in Beijing. Zhao Yuying, deputy general manager of TCL Multimedia Internet Business Unit, attended the forum on behalf of TCL Group and delivered a speech entitled "TCL@TV Game Ecosystem". Zhao Yuying said that the smart era has given hardware equipment manufacturers a good opportunity. Through users' use of smart TV content, hardware equipment manufacturers have become an important link in the user ecosystem. What TCL wants to create in the future is to seize the opportunity to provide services to users in the field of smart TV platforms. In April this year, TCL Group announced its "Double +" strategic transformation, which means "intelligence + Internet, products + services". As a traditional hardware equipment manufacturer, TCL Group hopes to provide users with not only intelligent and Internet-connected hardware equipment, but also more satisfactory service content. In the process of TCL's "Double +" strategic transformation, products and services will be implemented and developed along this route. Zhao Yuying introduced that "Double + strategy is a strategic transformation that is user-centric and intelligent Internet products serve. We hope to provide products that are more fun, easier to use and better looking, especially our smart TVs, which are provided to users through the overall solution of 'service + product'. In terms of services, we now have four main platforms: video, games, education, and life. There are also some relatively new services; in terms of products, we will focus on optimizing intelligent interconnection and operating experience." It is reported that TCL Multimedia was originally a traditional color TV company, but now through the transformation of the double + strategy and the baptism of the intelligent era, it has become a global entertainment technology company. Under the guidance of this new strategic direction, TCL Multimedia actively works with partners in the ecosystem to build a smart ecosystem and a TV game ecosystem, and sets the ultimate goal of building the largest TV game platform and ecosystem in China. In June this year, TCL Group launched the world's first dual-screen integrated platform. In its gaming strategy, TCL will participate in the industry ecosystem and build the gaming value chain from content providers to gaming platforms, gaming products, payments, and users, and work with other partners to build this ecosystem. Zhao Yuying said that in terms of game content investment, TCL Multimedia will maintain at least 10 large-scale games every month, and one large-scale TV game that is the first to be released globally every month. Through this continuous game distribution method, it will generate continuous stickiness with users. On the road to building the largest smart ecological gaming platform in China, TCL, as a hardware equipment manufacturer, cannot complete it completely independently. It hopes to rely on more partners and more technical support to participate in the creation of such an ecosystem.
