Earlier this month, it was reported that Apple and Facebook would reimburse female employees for the cost of freezing their eggs. Recently, the HR department of the mobile Internet company NetQin announced a series of preferential policies specifically for Beijing employees, which not only cover basic living issues such as renting, housing, household registration, and unemployment insurance, but also involve real-life issues such as buying a house, buying a car, and having a stable job.

This is different from the previous case in which a female employee of a domestic company asked for leave on the grounds that "my ex-boyfriend is getting married the day after tomorrow, so I will spend the day dressing up, and will mess up the day after tomorrow!" The supervisor's approval response was: "Agreed! Please let me know if you need support!" The approach is the same, but the tactics are varied.

Given the industry situation, my country's Internet companies are mostly distributed in first- and second-tier large cities. Although salary income is higher than in third- and fourth-tier cities, the cost of living and practical problems they face are more complicated than in small cities.

Take Beijing and Shanghai as examples. In recent years, both private enterprises and state-owned units are no longer responsible for solving employees' real problems such as buying houses, household registration, and children's education. It is precisely because of these problems that most employees have to give up good job opportunities in big cities in terms of life and work.

On the other hand, compared with other fields, the competition for talent in the Internet industry is more intense. An Alibaba executive once publicly stated: "We are not competing with Internet peers, but competing for talent with various industries."

As the status of technology application in enterprise development increases, the important role of knowledge-based talents in the acquisition of competitive advantages and value creation of Internet enterprises is self-evident. How a successful enterprise highlights its advantages in talent competition and management has become one of the important criteria for measuring its success. Especially for Internet enterprises that have experienced waves of birth and reshuffle, and have grown rapidly in the shocks, the high mobility of Internet talents has repeatedly approached the bottom line of enterprise survival.

It is reported that after launching VIP dining services and 100% reimbursement of "supplementary medical insurance" and other preferential policies, NetQin has reached a cooperation with "Ziru Home" under Lianjia Real Estate, a well-known house rental brand, to provide NetQin employees with various special preferential services, including:

1. Employees can change their lease once for free;

2. 9.2% off service fee, full refund within three days if not satisfied;

3. Each room has free Wi-Fi network;

4. All 600 ZiruHome employees in Beijing will clean the public areas twice a month;

5. A team of nearly 500 professional maintenance engineers in Beijing promises to provide on-site maintenance services within 48 hours;

6. You will receive accidental injury insurance provided by Ziroom upon check-in.

At the same time, NetQin is also actively looking for other housing rental partners to provide employees with a more convenient, safe and worry-free rental process.

In addition, NetQin has set up a postdoctoral mobile station to attract more high-end talents. The corresponding welfare policy is that the postdoctoral students who enter the station can not only get free housing, but NetQin will also solve the employee's household registration problem. I believe that the problems of buying a house, buying a car, and children's education related to the household registration problem will also be solved accordingly.

Of course, if an employee has worked for NetQin for five consecutive years and meets the performance requirements, he or she can apply for an open-ended labor contract. This policy threshold is a full half lower than the ten years stipulated by the state.

Compared with the company's brand awareness and limited salary levels, these new welfare policies are very tempting for most people who have moved to Beijing. Especially with NetQin's real strength and potential, the company itself may provide employees with more complete welfare and services in future policy changes.
