Recently, the Baidu Cloud OS R&D team, which had just left its previous employer, was reported to have joined LeEco's mobile phone division and started working on its upcoming super phone. However, today, the person in charge of LeEco Mobile denied the news, claiming that it was a false rumor.

Although LeEco did not elaborate on the reasons, it can be seen from the internal speech of LeEco CEO Jia Yueting that recently exposed that LeEco has tailored a unique EUI (Eoc User Interface) user ecological interaction system for the development of the super phone operating system.

As for the end of Baidu Cloud OS, some sources said it was due to the interruption of R&D funding chain, while others believed that as a piece of chicken ribs among Baidu's many projects, it has long become the focus of reform. With the gradual decline of other "OS" mobile phone systems, the departure of Baidu Cloud OS may announce the end of the mobile phone 2.0 era represented by "hardware + UI".

It is reported that the EUI system installed in the super phone that will be launched soon is a human-computer operating system built based on the LeTV ecosystem that can bring users the ultimate experience with one cloud and multiple screens across terminals. It can not only greatly improve the operating experience of the super phone, but will also become the nerve center of the LeTV ecosystem across ecosystems and terminals, and become another important bridge connecting users and the LeTV ecosystem.
