In May, the resumption of work and production in my country's new energy vehicle industry has achieved remarkable results, with the production and sales of new energy vehicles exceeding 400,000 units, and the year-on-year growth rate exceeded expectations and recovered to more than 1 times, which greatly boosted market confidence. Since mid-to-late May, the epidemic situation in many parts of China has been effectively controlled, and the production capacity of enterprises related to the new energy vehicle industry chain has been further released. At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, and the National Energy Administration, has introduced a policy for new energy vehicles to go to the countryside to promote the incubation of the new energy vehicle market. New energy vehicles are expected to continue to maintain a high growth momentum.

In May, production and sales resumed high-speed growth. In May, my country's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 466,000 and 447,000 respectively, both up 1.1 times year-on-year, quickly returning to the high-speed growth level before the epidemic. From January to May, the cumulative production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.071 million and 2.003 million respectively, both up 1.1 times year-on-year.

In May, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles increased significantly. In May , China exported 43,000 new energy vehicles , a year-on-year increase of 1.3 times, of which 42,000 new energy passenger vehicles were exported , a year-on-year increase of 1.4 times. The growth rate of new energy vehicle exports reversed the downward trend for three consecutive months and rebounded sharply.
