Infiniti partially recalls more than 200 QX60 hybrid vehicles

Recently, Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and will recall some imported Infiniti QX60 hybrid series vehicles starting from February 13, 2017.

Recall Scope:

Some imported 2015 Infiniti QX60 hybrid series vehicles manufactured between January 19, 2016 and February 5, 2016. According to the company's statistics, a total of 205 vehicles were involved in mainland China.

Reason for recall:

Due to supplier reasons, the shell thickness of certain parts of some fuel tanks of the vehicles covered by this recall is lower than the standard design thickness. If the fuel tanks are subjected to strong impact, fuel leakage may occur, posing a safety hazard.

Solution:

Nissan (China) Investment Co., Ltd. will replace the fuel tanks of the recalled vehicles free of charge to eliminate the defect. Relevant users should drive as safely as possible to avoid vehicle collisions. If there are any abnormalities, please go to the repair station for inspection immediately. After the recall action begins, please contact the dealer for repair as soon as possible.
