CS55 is positioned between CS75 and CS35. Its dimensions are 4500*1855*1690mm in length, width and height respectively, and its wheelbase is 2650mm, which is slightly shorter than CS75. In terms of appearance, Changan CS55 adopts the latest design language of the family, which is inspired by obsidian. The hexagonal shield front grille with chrome-plated English LOGO, the sharp headlights extending to the side, and the chrome-plated C-shaped fog lights are very sporty.

The front fender of the CS55 is equipped with the same "Turbo" logo as the CS95, indicating that this car is equipped with a turbocharged engine and uses a two-color five-spoke wheel design. The overall waistline is very powerful. Compared with the front face, the rear is much simpler, and several dividing lines make the rear very layered.

As for the interior, the CS55 gives people a simple and generous feeling. The large-sized central control screen is very eye-catching. The overall black decoration looks very stable, and the red lines on the seats and interior decoration highlight the youthfulness. The interior materials and workmanship meet the standards of this level. The red stitching enhances the visual effect. In addition, the imitation carbon fiber decoration on the front panel and gear lever adds some sporty style.

In terms of power, it is equipped with a new Blue Core 1.5T engine. The automatic transmission model is equipped with Aisin's latest generation of 6-speed manual transmission. The specific power performance will depend on actual use in the future.

In terms of space, thanks to its excellent external dimensions, the CS55's interior space performs better than its peers. At the same time, the rear seats are also provided with armrests to improve comfort.

Changan brand passenger cars currently have three SUV models: CS15, CS35 and CS75. There is still a gap between CS35 and 75, and the appearance of CS55 just fills this gap, enriching its own product line while also meeting the needs of different consumers. From the perspective of positioning, the competitors of CS55 are Haval H2 and Trumpchi GS4. Whether this car can gain a foothold in the domestic market with such a fast update and replacement depends on its future performance.
