This concept car not only uses Hyundai Motor's fourth-generation hydrogen fuel cell technology, which is comparable to the power performance of gasoline vehicles, but also can achieve a maximum range of 800km according to European standards, which also marks a new step for Hyundai Motor on the road of new energy vehicles.

Although hydrogen fuel has many benefits, it is still difficult to dispel user concerns

Hydrogen fuel vehicles are considered to be disruptors of the traditional automobile industry not only because they are renewable resources, but also because they conform to social development. However, if this new energy vehicle is to become popular, it must be based on reducing manufacturing costs, so problems arise.

How to quickly reduce the price to a level acceptable to the public has become one of the issues that hydrogen fuel cell vehicles must face. However, for consumers, facing the current price of high-performance electric vehicles of only around $30,000, they are more or less inclined to a suitable price.

Therefore, Hyundai Motor, which has made new energy vehicles one of its core development strategies in recent years, has demonstrated advantages that other automobile manufacturers do not have.

It is understood that in order to achieve large-scale popularization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, Hyundai Motor Group has already achieved global mass production of hydrogen fuel cell vehicle ix35 FCEV for the first time as early as 2013. Then in 2016, it launched the environmentally friendly model IONIQ, which is not only the world's first environmentally friendly model that can provide three power systems: hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure electric, but also one of Hyundai Motor Group's most important new energy strategic models in the world.
