New hybrid Range Rover Sport launched, priced at RMB 9.68 million to RMB 2,298 million

On January 8, 2018, Land Rover officially announced the launch of the new Range Rover Sport, with a total of 4 models available, priced from RMB 968,000 to RMB 2,298,000. This facelift mainly upgraded the exterior, interior, and configuration, and also added a hybrid model.

Overall, the new car has upgraded the front bumper and the internal shape of the headlights compared to the current model. The differences among the four models are also reflected in the front bumper design and some details. For example, the regular version will provide black exterior kit, bright exterior kit and carbon fiber exterior kit as options. The SVR model will provide an exclusive carbon fiber kit as an option.

The new Range Rover Sport has a much better sense of technology in interior design than the old model. The new car will be available in 7 interior colors, of which the ebony/white cloud color combination is only available for the SVR model. The new car has also been significantly upgraded in terms of configuration, with four-wheel drive, dynamic stability control, roll stability control, hill descent control, 12-inch full LCD instrument panel, collision prevention emergency braking, lane departure warning, cruise control system, etc.

The new car will provide 4 powertrain options, including 3.0L V6 supercharged engine with two power, the maximum power is 381 horsepower and 340 horsepower respectively. 2.0T turbocharged engine plus motor, the combined maximum power is 404 horsepower, the combined peak torque output is 640 Nm. 5.0L V8 supercharged engine, the maximum power is 575 horsepower, the peak torque is 700 Nm. All series are equipped with 8-speed manual transmission as standard.
