At the press conferences of some traditional car companies before and after this Chengdu Auto Show, there were many shadows of new car-making forces.

On August 30, the price of SAIC Roewe MARVEL X was announced. At the same time, SAIC Roewe also released the "Super User Service Plan" for the car. Relying on the SAIC Roewe APP, the service plan can cover four major car use scenarios: maintenance, energy, insurance, and travel.

In terms of charging, SAIC Roewe MARVEL X has launched the "Energy Worry-Free" service in its user service plan. The service includes: unlimited charging service based on 250,000 Anyue and Teladian public charging piles covering 287 cities across the country; customized vehicle power delivery service for users who are short of power on the road, with a fast charge of 10 minutes to travel 50 kilometers. This service will be launched first in Shanghai and will be gradually popularized to other cities.

This "super user service plan" also includes free maintenance services, free repair and replacement vehicle services, free roadside assistance services, free door-to-door vehicle pick-up and delivery services, free vehicle and machine traffic, free vehicle cleaning services, free off-site vehicle rental services, and free airport pick-up and drop-off services. At the same time, SAIC Roewe has also jointly launched a courier-to-car service with China Post.

Such services are actually part of the services launched by NIO when ES8 was launched. The difference is that the service package provided by SAIC Roewe for MARVEL X cannot be split.

On the media day of the auto show, the pre-sale price of the next-generation model of BAIC Senova X55 was also announced at the Chengdu Auto Show. The new car is named "Senova Smart", which directly explains to people that its core selling point is smart technology. At the same time, the car and its system also have OTA upgrade capabilities.

The Bestune T77, whose official pictures were recently released, is also equipped with an AI holographic intelligent control system in the car, which has similar functions to the NOMI on the NIO ES8. The system can provide 3 types of characters, 5 sets of personalized costumes, and 43 scenario-based skills that NOMI cannot provide.

In terms of marketing, ORA, the pure electric vehicle brand launched by Great Wall Motors on August 20, will adopt a 2C and 2B business combination model similar to that of some new car-making forces. While rapidly setting up various types of dealerships, it will explore various B-end operation models through its exclusive service platform ORA Travel.

In fact, in terms of channels, traditional car companies such as BAIC New Energy and GAC New Energy have launched brand image stores such as NIO HOUSE and Qiantu Motors Qiantu Station. So, what are the new car-making forces that traditional car companies cannot "learn"?

If the so-called "new technology" and "new model" are launched first by traditional car companies, what should the new car-making forces use to compete with the other party when they have no advantages in terms of financial strength, quality control level, channel construction, government relations, supply chain system, and R&D capabilities? If the new car-making forces want to grab the market that truly belongs to them, they must create competitiveness that is difficult for their opponents to "learn".
