Tesla recently released its latest model, the Tesla Model S Plaid. The biggest feature of this model is its high speed, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.1 seconds. Correspondingly, its price has reached 1.06 million yuan. However, before many car owners had time to pick up their cars, the first Model S Plaid fire incident had already occurred in the United States.

According to local media reports in the United States, a Model S Plaid caught fire in Montgomery, Pennsylvania, and the car was almost completely burned when firefighters arrived at the scene. It is estimated that the car was delivered less than a week ago. Fortunately, there was no one in the car when the fire broke out, so no casualties were caused.

Judging from the photos taken at the scene, the accident was quite tragic. Fortunately, the fire brigade that rushed to the scene had previously received training on Tesla fires, so they put out the fire within an hour and a half. However, the entire accident still lasted three hours.

Tesla has not yet explained the accident, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. A local resident said that before the accident, he saw the car rolling on the road and exploding in front of their house.

Tesla's safety issues have always attracted attention, and its fire is more difficult to deal with than other cars. Last week, a Tesla Model S caught fire in a car accident in the United States. After the firefighters put out the first wave of fire, the second and third waves of fire soon appeared under the hood. After the fire was completely extinguished, the battery caught fire again. It is reported that in order to put out the fire, 8 firefighters spent a total of 7 hours and consumed 106 tons of water, which is equivalent to the water consumption of local families for two years.
