Recently, BYD announced that the "world's super-safe intelligent new energy flagship sedan" Han EV has added a standard range luxury model. The new model has a NEDC comprehensive pure electric driving range of 506 kilometers and a price of 209,800 yuan after comprehensive subsidies. Reservations are accepted from now on and deliveries are expected to start in September 2021.

Han EV is BYD's flagship new energy sedan that integrates the world's leading technologies and the advantages of the entire industrial chain system. The launch of the Han EV standard range luxury model has expanded the price range of Han EV, which means that the range threshold of 200,000+ mid-to-high-end pure electric sedans will be raised to 500 kilometers+.

The blade battery installed in the Han EV standard range luxury model has a capacity of 64.8 kWh and a NEDC comprehensive pure electric driving range of 506 kilometers. The high volumetric energy density of the blade battery, coupled with the vehicle's ultra-low drag coefficient, ultra-high energy recovery efficiency, double silver-coated windshield and other energy-saving and consumption-reducing measures, enables it to have long-range capabilities covering a variety of usage scenarios.

The Han EV Standard Range Deluxe model is compatible with public charging piles across the country and is compatible with a variety of charging methods. It takes only 25 minutes to fast charge from 30% to 80% of the power. The pure electric range of 500 kilometers or more is enough to cover daily travel needs for users living in first-tier cities with well-developed charging infrastructure. They can commute 60 kilometers a day and travel for a week without pressure after fully charging. For users living in urban clusters such as the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, while meeting daily commuting needs, they can also take into account the occasional needs of inter-city travel.

More importantly, compared to the "Han EV super long-range luxury model" currently on sale, the Han EV standard-range luxury model "reduces range without reducing luxury, reduces price without reducing quality", setting a new value benchmark for 200,000+ mid-to-high-end pure electric sedans.

First, the styling design of the Han EV Standard Range Deluxe is exactly the same as that of the Han EV Long Range Deluxe. Secondly, the overall configuration of the Han EV Standard Range Deluxe is also on par with that of the Han EV Long Range Deluxe, including the driver's seat ventilation and heating functions, the driver's and co-driver's seats and lumbar support multi-directional electric adjustment and other rich luxury comfort configurations. Moreover, the Han EV Standard Range Deluxe also has the S-class German chassis tuning and library-level NVH quiet space, bringing users a luxury driving experience beyond their class.

In terms of safety quality that involves the core interests of users, the Han EV standard endurance luxury model still comes standard with 11 airbags, including dual front airbags, front and rear seat side airbags, driver's knee airbag, front and rear through-type side airbags, etc. It also comes standard with active safety configurations such as FCW forward collision warning and AEB automatic emergency braking, reflecting BYD's equal treatment of safety.

The intelligence level of the Han EV standard range luxury model is also consistent with the ultra-long range luxury model. Its DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system deeply integrates the existing L2+ driving assistance functions; the DiLink 3.0 intelligent network system provides mobile phone NFC car keys, intelligent voice interaction, cloud service smart butler and many other black technologies, bringing users an "uncompromised" luxury smart space.
