Schaeffler Technology Division CEO Matthias Qingke: Learning from the Chinese market

In a recent interview with Chinese media, Matthias Qingke, CEO of Schaeffler's Technology Division, said, "Chinese local companies are developing very agilely and innovatively. For Schaeffler, China is by no means a proving ground or a testing ground. Schaeffler believes that it must take root here and learn from the Chinese market."

Schaeffler is a German-based auto parts manufacturer. Over the past 80 years, it has been a global leader in the automotive supply chain in bearings, engines and transmission precision parts. In the past five years, electric drive and intelligent chassis have become its main innovation directions to adapt to the trend of the times.

Schaeffler's success in the global automotive industry chain is obvious to all. Recently, in order to expand Schaeffler's influence in the electric vehicle supply chain and implement the company's "Roadmap 2025" strategic plan for the transformation to electric drive, after completing the acquisition of Vitesco Technologies, Schaeffler's annual revenue will achieve a new record of 25 billion euros.

Such a giant company dared to say "learn from the Chinese market", which coincides with Tesla CEO Musk's recent evaluation of the Chinese market.
