Since new car companies have invested much more money on the Internet than traditional car companies, when many friends talk about buying electric cars, they basically think of new brands such as NIO, Ideal and Xpeng first, and know very little about electric cars from traditional car companies. However, in fact, while the market share of new energy vehicles in my country is growing rapidly, the pure electric models of traditional car companies are also evolving at a very fast pace. Among them, Aion under GAC and Feifan under SAIC are two successful new energy brands that have broken through the siege in the new energy vehicle breakout competition. Not long ago, these two brands each launched a pure electric SUV priced between 200,000 and 250,000 yuan - Haobo HT and 24 Feifan R7, which aroused the curiosity of many consumers about the advantages of these two cars and which one is more worth buying. Therefore, today we have chosen their versions, each priced at around 21: Haobo HT 2024 600 rear-wheel drive technology version and Feifan R7 2024 advanced Pro version for comparison, to see which one has a higher cost performance and which consumers each is suitable for. Design In terms of appearance, the front face of Haobo HT adopts the brand new logo design of Aian. Compared with the previous GAC LOGO, it does look more expensive and advanced. Of course, this is also related to the rounded and futuristic front face design. The oversized special-shaped headlights do not make people feel strange. With the simple front face design, it makes the whole car look more smart and not dull. The side of the Haobo HT is still limited by the battery pack. The chassis is relatively high. The roof curve and the overly full body make the Haobo HT look a bit like the mouse of Model Y, which seems a bit bulky and inflexible. The tail of the Haobo HT adopts the common through-type taillights, but an upward concave design is made under the car logo, which makes the rear of the car look somewhat design-oriented and looks simple and elegant. If the design concept of Haobo HT is defined as futuristic and minimalist, then the design concept of Feifan R7 is sporty and tough. This can be felt from the first glance at the front face of Feifan R7. Although Feifan R7 adopts the through-type headlights that new car companies like to use, the sharp corners on both sides of the headlights and the tough grooves at the bottom radar fully convey the sense of speed that the designers of Feifan R7 want to express. The side of the Feifan R7 remains the same, with a parallel, obvious and sharp waistline. The lower waistline is responsible for raising the visual height, and the upper waistline is responsible for deepening the user's memory of the side design. The R logo on the rear can be lit up together with the through-type taillights, which maximizes its night recognition. Even if you see it for the first time, you can clearly remember what the logo on the rear is. Power control In terms of power, the Haobo HT uses a 245Ps electric motor with a power of 180kW and a torque of 355N·m. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. To be honest, it is not fast among cars of the same price, and it can barely be regarded as an upper-middle level. However, for most ordinary consumers, the acceleration performance of 6.8 seconds is completely sufficient. It’s just that the top speed of the Haobo HT is only 183km/h. Therefore, when driving at high speed, if you want to overtake or change lanes, the power response in the second half may not be satisfactory. The Feifan R7 uses an electric motor with 340Ps horsepower, 250kW power and 450N·m torque, which far exceeds the Haobo HT in terms of performance. Not only that, the actual zero-to-hundred acceleration time is a full second faster than the Haobo HT, completing the zero-to-hundred acceleration in only 5.8 seconds, and the top speed reaches 200km/h. There is no problem of weak acceleration in the second half. In most cases, the power is very abundant. So in terms of power, there is no doubt that Feifan R7 is far ahead of Haobo HT. For consumers who care more about power, choosing Feifan R7 is obviously a very correct choice. However, in terms of handling experience, compared to Feifan R7, Haobo HT is more suitable for consumers who prefer excellent sports SUV driving experience. Not only does it have wider original tires and stronger grip, but also better body stability during sharp turns. In addition, the suspension materials are sufficient, with double wishbones in the front and multi-link in the rear, allowing Haobo HT to meet more extreme driving needs. Therefore, it is more suitable for consumers who like extreme driving than Feifan R7. Battery life In terms of battery life, the Haobo HT uses a 72.7kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which can provide a maximum pure electric range of 600km. The battery life is relatively long among models of the same price. Basically, even if you commute to get off work during the week or go on an outing on the weekend, charging once a week is enough for most users. It supports fast charging, and can be charged from 30% to 80% in 0.5 hours. The energy replenishment speed is at the average level of the same price. The Feifan R7 uses a 77kWh ternary lithium battery, which is more expensive than lithium iron phosphate batteries, but has better performance in cold resistance and durability. It can provide a maximum range of 570km, which can also cover the mileage needs of most users. Under normal circumstances, there is no need to worry about insufficient battery life. Some friends may be wondering why the larger battery capacity has a shorter range than the Haobo HT, because the Haobo HT has a lower power consumption per 100 kilometers, only 13.7kWh, while the Feifan R7 is 14.9kWh. Therefore, we need to wait for the subsequent system update of the Feifan R7 to improve the power consumption performance as much as possible. Feifan R7 also supports fast charging, which can charge from 30% to 80% in 0.5 hours. The energy charging experience is basically the same as Haobo HT. The warranty is not as comprehensive as Haobo HT, and it only provides an 8-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty policy, while Haobo HT provides a lifetime warranty for the first owner, so there is no need to worry about battery aging. Cabin interior In terms of the cockpit, Haobo HT adopts a modern and simple design style. In addition to the use of a large amount of soft materials to wrap the center console, door panels and central armrests, some solid wood materials are used as cover panels for the wireless charging panel instead of the common glossy plastic. Therefore, although the cockpit adopts a simple design style, it has a sense of technological luxury, which can capture the hearts of young consumers and will not be rejected by older consumers. The Haobo HT's car computer uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P chip, and its performance is still at the first-tier level in the market. With Aion's self-developed car computer system, there is no need to worry about fluency issues; the car computer screen size is 14.6 inches, and the screen is horizontal, so there is no need to worry about the entertainment experience. There are many third-party apps, which can handle watching movies and karaoke. The cockpit of Feifan R7 adopts a cockpit design concept similar to that of Mercedes-Benz pure electric sedans, with ultra-luxurious materials, so that almost all places that can be touched are made of soft materials except glass. The texture and touch of the cockpit are both in the first tier of the same price range. In terms of luxury, Feifan R7 really does it well. If your family also likes luxurious interiors, then Feifan R7 can almost be said to be a must-see model at the same price range. The Feifan R7's car computer also uses Qualcomm Snapdragon's 8155 chip, so the fluency is guaranteed. In addition to the 15.05-inch central control screen, the Feifan R7 is also equipped with a 12.3-inch co-pilot entertainment screen. Therefore, in terms of the entertainment experience of the entire vehicle, the Feifan R7 is more thoughtful than the Haobo HT. Even when the vehicle is moving, the co-pilot can watch videos on the co-pilot screen, so long-distance trips will not be boring. Purchase suggestions In general, we recommend Feifan R7 more highly than Haobo HT. Its high performance, ternary lithium battery and luxurious and comfortable interior design are all configurations that can substantially improve the car-using experience, especially in front of the Haobo HT, which is almost priced the same. This makes Feifan R7 a more mature product. If there are family needs, then choosing Feifan R7 will make this decision more correct. The co-pilot screen can effectively enhance the entertainment experience of the co-pilot and make riding in a car no longer a boring thing. If you are not interested in the slightly flamboyant appearance of the Feifan R7 and prefer a simple, technological exterior and interior, or if you simply like the feeling of driving a car yourself, then the Haobo HT is also a good choice. It is a car that is more suitable as a gift for drivers who love driving, which is a relatively rare positioning in today's new energy vehicle market.
