1. Operation of public charging infrastructure: In July 2023, the number of public charging piles increased by 62,000 compared with June, a year-on-year increase of 40.4%. As of July 2023, the member units of the alliance reported a total of 2.211 million public charging piles, including 938,000 DC charging piles and 1.273 million AC charging piles. From August 2022 to July 2023, the average monthly increase in public charging piles was about 53,000.

2. The operation of public charging infrastructure in provinces, regions and cities. The public charging piles built in the top 10 regions of Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Hubei, Beijing, Shandong, Anhui, Henan and Fujian account for 71.3%. The national charging power is mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Hebei, Fujian, Shanghai, Shaanxi, Shandong, Henan and other provinces. The power flow is mainly to buses and passenger cars, and other types of vehicles such as sanitation logistics vehicles and taxis account for a small proportion. In July 2023, the total charging power in the country was about 3.25 billion kWh, an increase of 290 million kWh from the previous month, a year-on-year increase of 48.4% and a month-on-month increase of 9.9%.

3. Operation of public charging infrastructure operators. As of July 2023, the top 15 charging piles operated by charging operators nationwide are: Teladian operates 439,000 units, Xingxing Charging operates 399,000 units, Yunkuai Charging operates 361,000 units, State Grid operates 196,000 units, Xiaoju Charging operates 121,000 units, Weijingyun operates 104,000 units, Shenzhen Car Power Network operates 80,000 units, China Southern Power Grid operates 73,000 units, Yiwi Energy operates 72,000 units, Hui Charging operates 58,000 units, Wancheng Wanchong operates 51,000 units, Weilan Kuai Charging operates 42,000 units, Wanma Ai Charging operates 30,000 units, SAIC Anyue operates 25,000 units, and China Putian operates 24,000 units. These 15 operators account for 93.9% of the total, and the remaining operators account for 6.1% of the total.

4. Overall operation of charging infrastructure: From January to July 2023, the number of charging infrastructure increased by 1.718 million units, of which the number of public charging piles increased by 413,000 units and the number of private charging piles installed on vehicles increased by 1.305 million units, up 39.6% year-on-year. As of July 2023, the total number of charging infrastructure nationwide was 6.928 million units, up 74.1% year-on-year.

5. Comparison between charging infrastructure and electric vehicles. From January to July 2023, the increase in charging infrastructure was 1.718 million units, and the sales volume of new energy vehicles was 4.526 million units. The charging infrastructure and new energy vehicles continued to grow rapidly. The increase ratio of charging piles to vehicles was 1:2.6. The construction of charging infrastructure can basically meet the rapid development of new energy vehicles.
