If various restrictions are lifted, it should be easy for various models on the mainland to reshape the local automobile market. In terms of B-class cars, the deep blue SL03 from the mainland is a big player. This car is priced at 139,900-206,900 yuan and provides two power modes: extended-range and pure electric. The extended-range version has a comprehensive range of 1,140km. Except for the lowest-equipped model, the other models are equipped with L2-level driving assistance functions. Such performance is only considered mainstream by consumers in mainland China. But for the closed and conservative Taiwanese auto market, the Deep Blue SL03 is a killer. You know, the Toyota Camry, which is inferior to the Deep Blue SL03 in all aspects, has a starting price of 226,200 yuan in Taiwan Province, but in mainland China, its starting price has dropped to around 150,000 yuan. In the field of C-class cars, are there any models from the mainland that can occupy the Taiwanese market? There are undoubtedly many. BYD Han is a typical representative. Since its launch, this car has always been the leader in the new energy C-class car market. It is priced at only 169,800-299,800 yuan, provides two power modes: plug-in hybrid and pure electric, and has a very good performance in terms of intelligence and comfort. BYD Han can be very popular in the fiercely competitive mainland market, so its performance in Taiwan is certainly believable. Judging from the retail data of the Taiwanese auto market, it has not yet developed a similar model. If it really enters the provincial market, it will surely usher in many exclamations from local consumers. It is worth mentioning that it is not only new energy vehicles that are strong in the mainland, but traditional fuel vehicles have also become highly competitive. In fact, most of the models exported by mainland China to overseas in the past two years are fuel vehicles, but the explosion of new energy vehicles has overshadowed the glory of mainland China's progress in the field of fuel vehicles. For example, Geely Xingrui L is very representative. The price of this car is 108,700-145,700 yuan, which is cheaper than the Ford Focus in Taiwan Province. It provides 1.5T and 2.0T engines with a maximum power of 140kW. Some mid-to-high-end models also provide L2-level driving assistance functions. If such a car is sold freely in the local market, will the Focus, which cannot survive in the mainland, have a chance to enter the top 10 sales list? In terms of fuel-powered C-class cars, mainland automakers were previously at a disadvantage, but they also have some high-quality products, the most representative of which is the Hongqi H9. Before the advent of the new energy era, this car was the only domestic C-class car that could enter the mainstream market. It has a majestic and stable appearance, a body length of 5137mm, and a wheelbase of 3060mm. It has a strong sense of luxury and is overall better than the same-level models launched by Mercedes-Benz and BMW. At the same time, Hongqi H9 is also equipped with a 2.0T engine with a maximum power of 185kW, and all models are equipped with L2-level driving assistance functions as standard. It also provides high-end configurations such as front-row wireless charging for mobile phones and HUD head-up digital display. The starting price is only 329,800 yuan. If Hongqi H9 can enter the Taiwanese market, it will surely become a hot-selling model in the local market. The rise of China's new energy vehicle industry in recent years has broken many of people's previous inherent perceptions. Compared with the open, inclusive and fully competitive mainland market, many overseas markets are conservative or even self-contained. Taiwan Province of my country is no exception. Despite the numerous trade barriers between Europe and the United States, China will be able to win the global automobile export championship in 2023. If the automobile market in Taiwan Province is completely liberalized, for mainland car manufacturers, there will inevitably be an additional small but dominant automobile market.
