The only market that is still growing in the entire PC industry is the gaming market. In order to win the hearts of gamers, hardware manufacturers have taken great pains. In order to welcome the upcoming holiday shopping season, NVIDIA has launched the GeForce GTX Battlebox program in cooperation with several PC manufacturers. In short, NVIDIA has cooperated with them to launch a gaming PC pre-installed with two-way SLI or even three-way SLI, with a choice of GTX 780 or GTX Titan graphics cards, mainly for 4K games. The concept of NVIDIA's Battlebox plan is not new. Whether it is NVIDIA, AMD or even Intel, they have done similar activities with SIs (system integrators). But then again, NVIDIA is very strong in the gaming graphics card market, and their leading role in this gaming PC is no exception. Anyway, the shopping season in the European and American markets is coming soon, so when else can they not give it a push? NVIDIA's Battlebox project is to combine NVIDIA's hardware, manufacturers' PC consoles and game manufacturers' games. Most of these games are also developed in cooperation with NVIDIA, and make extensive use of N's HBAO+, PhysX acceleration, TXAA anti-aliasing and other technologies. Each Battlebox gaming PC is equipped with a 2-way/3-way GTX 780 or GTX Titan SLI kit, an overclocked Haswell-based Core i7/i5 processor, high-speed DDR3 memory, a high-end CPU cooler, and the necessary high-performance SSD, so this PC can handle most 4K games without any problems. The picture above shows the gaming performance of GTX 780 SLI and GTX Titan SLI given by NVIDIA. The game frame rate is 50fps or higher, so there should be no problem with smoothness. On NVIDIA's cooperation page, you can find PC manufacturers participating in the Battlebox project, mainly Digital Storm, Falcon, Maingear and ORIGIN. They have each launched one or more Battlebox gaming PCs. The lowest configuration is the Core i7-4770K processor, and the highest is the Core i7-4960X processor. For details, please refer to the official page. I couldn't find prices for the other models, but the Digital Storm Aventum II has a price listed on the official website. It has a Core i7-4960X processor, 32GB DDR3-1866 memory, Asus Rampage IV Extreme X79 motherboard, 240GB SSD+1TB 7200RPM HDD, a Blu-ray drive, and a three-way GTX Titan SLI graphics card. It sounds great, but the price of $6,519 (equivalent to RMB 41,516) is just for the basic model, which only has a Core i7-4930K processor, 16GB of memory and dual-way GTX 780. The top-end version introduced by NVIDIA officially costs almost $10,000.
