Yiche Ranking: Sales data of the world's top 20 automobile markets in September 2023

Yiche.com recently released a list of the best-selling models in the top 20 countries in terms of car sales in September. The data shows that China, as the world's largest car sales country, has the Tesla Model Y as its best-selling model, with a total sales of 48,200 units in September. Although there are new models such as BYD Song Plus, Zeekr 7X, Ledao L60, and Xiaopeng G6 in China that continue to encircle Tesla, the Model Y's status as the best-selling model in China has not changed.

In the United States, which ranks second in automobile sales, the Ford F-150 pickup truck was the best-selling model in September, with sales of 52,900 units in a single month, making it also the model with the highest monthly sales in the world.

In addition, the Ford F-150 has been the best-selling single vehicle in the United States for many years. This is related to the fact that the United States is particularly fond of pickup trucks. The top three best-selling vehicles in the United States are all pickup trucks.

India and Japan, on the contrary, favor small cars. The best-selling model in India is the Suzuki Ertiga, with monthly sales of 17,400 units, while in Japan it is Honda's N-Box K-Car model, with monthly sales of 25,000 units.

The best-selling model in the UK is even more special, it is the Ford Tourneo Custonm (known as the Transit in China), a multi-functional MPV model that focuses on leisure travel scenarios.

The seats in the car can be flexibly arranged into six, seven or eight seats. It is often used for commercial passenger or cargo transportation in China, but it is a very popular private car in the UK, with monthly sales of 7,600 units.

The countries ranked sixth to tenth in terms of car sales are Brazil, Germany, France, Canada and Italy, and the top-selling models are Fiat Strada pickup, Volkswagen Golf, Renault Clio, Ford F-150 and Fiat Panda.
