Samsung: Samsung's QD-OLED panel shipments will increase by more than 50% in 2025, with a market share of 71.2%

Recently, Samsung announced plans to increase shipments of QD-OLED panels, which is expected to increase by more than 50% in 2025 compared to 1.43 million units in 2024 .

According to data from market research firm Omdia, shipments of OLED panels have grown significantly in the past few years, with an annual growth rate of nearly 300% from 2021 to 2024, highlighting the rapid transition from LCD to OLED technology.

Last year, Samsung accounted for 71.2% of the OLED market, taking an absolute leading position.

In 2025, Samsung will consolidate its technological leadership by launching new products with superior performance, including the world's first 27-inch 4K OLED panel with a refresh rate of 240Hz and a 27-inch 500Hz OLED panel with 2K resolution, which is expected to become a "game changer" in the high-end display market.

Samsung also plans to expand its product lineup in the consumer and commercial fields and expand its influence in various market segments. It is currently actively contacting major customers to finalize the product release schedule.
