Although Android smartphones and tablets are getting faster day by day, it is undeniable that Android smartphones and tablets still face many performance issues such as high CPU usage and poor battery life. The well-known network security company AVG recently released a survey statistics, revealing the top ten most destructive Android applications in the second quarter of 2015, and the results are quite surprising.

The most unexpected thing is that the "disappearing" photo-sharing app Snapchat ranks so high. After opening the app, users need to use the camera, Wi-Fi, cellular data or GPS at the same time, which also makes Snapchat very likely to replace Facebook as the app with the highest system power consumption in the Android system.

AVG did not elaborate on why social networking apps consume the most power.

It is also worth mentioning that Amazon's applications occupy three seats, and Netflix and Spotify are also on the list due to excessive data consumption.
