2019 Mobile Internet Self-discipline Whitelist Announced, AutoNavi Maps, Tencent and Others Selected

Recently, the China Anti-Network Virus Alliance (ANVA) announced the 2019 "Mobile Internet Self-Discipline White List", and a total of 21 applications from six companies including 360, Youku Technology, AutoNavi Map, Kingsoft, NetQin, and Tencent were selected.

The "Mobile Internet Application Self-Discipline White List" refers to a collection of mobile Internet applications that have a good reputation and do not engage in malicious behaviors such as malicious deductions, fee consumption, information theft, remote control, malicious dissemination, system destruction, deception and fraud, and hooliganism.

Among the six selected companies, NetQin is Class B certified, and the other five have obtained *** certification. Among them, AutoNavi Map has been selected for three consecutive years and is also the first electronic map application to obtain *** certification.

Public information shows that the certification of the "Mobile Internet Application Self-discipline White List" is very strict, using a "one-vote veto mechanism". All apps developed by applicant companies must be unanimously approved by 11 security companies in the China Anti-Network Virus Alliance before they are eligible to enter the "white list". If the applicant company has released any app with security risks, once detected, the "white list" application qualification will be immediately revoked. After the company enters the "white list", the China Anti-Network Virus Alliance will continue to monitor the apps released by the company.
