WeChat supports mobile phone number transfer without adding friends

When using a bank card APP to transfer money, you can transfer money through the other party’s mobile phone number, and the funds will directly go into the bank card associated with the other party’s mobile phone number. Now WeChat also supports similar functions.

On October 23, WeChat Pay launched a new function that supports "allowing transfers to users via mobile phone numbers" , which is now available to some users.

After turning on the "Allow transfers to me via mobile phone number" function, others can go to "Payments and Receives>Transfers to Bank Card or Mobile Phone" and transfer money to the mobile phone number bound to WeChat, and the received money will be deposited into the change.

According to WeChat, through this function, the other party can transfer money to a mobile phone number bound to WeChat without adding friends.

This feature is turned off by default, but you can turn it on. On the one hand, it makes it easier to receive payments, but on the other hand, what if someone accidentally enters your mobile phone number?
