Over the past year, OPPO has made remarkable achievements in the process of building an ecosystem. The number of monthly active users of ColorOS has exceeded 320 million worldwide, and a large number of users have been accumulated in the application, service, and content ecosystems. At present, more than 120,000 developers have settled in the OPPO open platform, and the open capabilities provided by OPPO are called more than 3 billion times a day. Breeno smart assistant, which was born just one year ago, now covers the user's usage scenarios including food, clothing, housing, transportation, etc., with more than 220 million users, an average daily distribution intention of 16 million, and a total of more than 100 skills on the platform.

Announced "Gravity Project 2.0 " and continued to invest $1 billion worth of resources to connect developers and users

At the 2018 Developer Conference, OPPO announced the official launch of the "Gravity Plan", investing 1 billion worth of resources to support outstanding developers around the world. To date, the "Gravity Plan" has provided resources for more than 2,000 applications, and has brought a total of 9.2 billion exposures and more than 180 million downloads.

On this basis, OPPO Vice President and President of the Internet Business Unit Duan Yaohui proposed in his keynote speech that next year OPPO will launch the "Gravity Plan 2.0 ", and will once again invest 1 billion worth of resources. With the coverage of ColorOS in more than 140 countries and regions around the world, OPPO will provide continuous and comprehensive support to partners in the four major areas of applications, services, content, and overseas expansion.

OPPO founder and CEO Chen Mingyong emphasized at the OPPO Future Technology Conference held not long ago that facing the era of the integration of all things, OPPO will continue to upgrade its user service thinking and bring more and better content and services to users. In order to meet the huge content needs of users, OPPO has built a content business system based on browsers, short videos, and happy lock screens. The monthly active users of the content system have exceeded 260 million, and the number of content exposures per day has reached more than 15 billion times. The short video business launched last year has exceeded 60 million monthly active users, and the average daily usage time per person exceeds 50 minutes.

  At the conference, OPPO launched the "Happy Plan" specifically for the content ecosystem for the first time, hoping to combine the characteristics of content ecosystem value upgrade, traffic pre-positioning, and scene integration, and promote the creation and dissemination of valuable content through support for content producers and the opening of ColorOS content scene services, so as to obtain better content to serve users and achieve a win-win situation for users, content producers and the ecosystem. The development of the content business is inseparable from the support of the industry's leading partners. Officially released the "Five System Capability Exposure Engines" and upgraded the "Two Platforms" to create a multi-scenario integrated experience

At the ColorOS 7 launch conference on November 20 , OPPO introduced many open scene functions for developers, such as the flashback key, Breeno , dark mode, etc. These functions connect OPPO 's system capabilities and third-party services, bringing users a convenient and efficient experience. At the same time, OPPO is also actively exploring open forms with WeChat, and is the first in the industry to open up the scene classification and intelligent search capabilities of the system album, which comprehensively improves the user experience when selecting and posting pictures on WeChat.

In order to allow developers to access OPPO 's system capabilities more smoothly and quickly, and continue to bring better user experience, the " Five System Capability Exposure Engines " - Hyper Boost , Link Boost , CameraUnit , MediaUnit and ARUnit - were officially released at the conference, and it was announced that the system capabilities in five aspects, namely performance, network, imaging, multimedia and AR, will be fully opened in 2020 to create user experience with developers and partners. In addition, in order to better empower developers, OPPO upgraded the enterprise business platform and Breeno platform, providing developers with development creation, testing and deployment tools that can more directly understand user needs, helping a wider range of developers to independently improve development efficiency and increase the number of people reached by services, while achieving user growth and providing developers with more scenario coverage.

Liu Bo, Vice President of OPPO and President of the Emerging Mobile Terminal Business Unit, believes that in the era of interconnectedness of all things, connection is only the foundation, and integration is the trend. OPPO will use the IoT 's ability to connect all things, and through the high bandwidth, wide connection, and low latency characteristics of 5G , to achieve real-time online, massive connection, and rapid response of devices. At the conference, OPPO announced that it will launch the "Enabling Action", an action to open up capabilities in the IoT field, and officially open the HeyThings IoT protocol, HeyThings IoT service platform, and audio interconnection protocol to IoT partners. Among them, the newly upgraded HeyThings IoT service platform is expected to be officially launched in the first quarter of 2020 and enable developer access through the OPPO open platform, while the first phase of the audio interconnection protocol will start in June next year. Based on this action, OPPO will promote the integration of technology and services from four levels: device interconnection, perception layer intercommunication, data processing and analysis, and service integration. At the same time, it is also committed to promoting the flow of value among partners, and creating a new cooperative ecology by breaking boundaries, building trust, and creating symbiosis.

 

In addition, Liu Bo also announced that OPPO's first smartwatch , OPPO Watch , and health platform will be available to users in the first quarter of 2020. Through this strategic product for the era of interconnected everything, OPPO will work with partners to create a healthy ecosystem. In the future, OPPO will continue to focus on the core entrances and open up interconnection capabilities around the four major scenarios of personal, family, travel, and office, and create a multi-terminal, cross-scenario smart life.
