Tencent's latest data: QQ's monthly active users are less than half of WeChat's

On May 20, Tencent released its first quarter financial report, which showed that Tencent's first quarter revenue was 135.303 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25%.

In addition, the net profit in the first quarter was RMB 47.8 billion, compared with RMB 28.896 billion in the same period last year, an increase of 65% year-on-year.

At the same time, the gap between QQ and WeChat's monthly active users has widened further. The financial report shows that in the first quarter, WeChat and WeChat's monthly active users reached 1.2416 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%.

In comparison, the monthly active users of QQ mobile terminals in the first quarter were 606.4 million, a year-on-year decrease of 12.6%.

The financial report also showed that the revenue of value-added services was 72.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16%. The revenue of games was 43.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17%, mainly driven by the growth of global mobile game revenue.

Among them, mobile game revenue was 41.5 billion yuan, and PC client game revenue was 11.9 billion yuan.
