Recently, Tencent launched a mini program called "Tencent Secret Message" on WeChat.

This program adopts national secret algorithms to protect the transmission of sensitive data through data encryption and digital signatures.

It is understood that MiXin is encrypted and protected by the national secret algorithm and can only be viewed by the designated recipient. Users can use MiXin to transmit private information (such as file passwords).

Tencent stated that when using the encryption function of this mini program, users need to be responsible for the integrity and correctness of the master key. Any losses and consequences caused by the incorrect use or loss of the master key due to improper maintenance by the user, which leads to the inability to decrypt the encrypted data, shall be borne by the user.

After testing, users need to register before use.

After registration is complete, you can start creating secret messages. After filling in the secret message content, you can copy it. The remarks are used to describe the purpose of the secret message, such as transmitting a file password.

After completion, you can add recipients. It should be noted that this addition is not a direct selection from the WeChat address book or mobile phone address book, but requires manual entry of the recipient's name and phone number.

After adding the recipients, select the expiration date of the secret letter. After the expiration date, the secret letter will not be viewable.

Expiration dates are provided: 3 days later, 1 week later, 1 month later, permanently valid, and you can also customize the legal date.

Once the information is correct, you can share it with the recipient.

In addition, after a secret message is successfully created, it is not sent to the other party in the form of a text message, but a Secret Message QR code will be generated. The creator can download the QR code and send it or send it to the recipient by sharing it on WeChat.

The recipient can open and decrypt the message directly in the chat box, or use WeChat to scan the corresponding QR code to view the secret message.

It should be noted that the recipient also needs to register the Tencent MiXin mini program in advance, otherwise he will not be able to view it.
