The official version of iOS 17.4 is updated with version number 21E219, which is different from the iOS 17.4 RC version released last week. Users who have upgraded to iOS 17.4 RC version can still receive official version push notifications.

Siri

Previously, the function of calling Siri just by saying "Siri" has been opened abroad. Now after upgrading to iOS 17.4, this function is finally here. You can turn on this function by going to "Settings-Siri & Search-Listen".

Stolen Device Protection

In iOS 17.4, Apple has also improved and optimized the stolen device protection function, and added adjustment options for "security delay". Users can set this function and select specific effective scenarios.

Contactless functionality and NFC

Apple previously announced that it would adopt an open policy on NFC permissions, stating that in order to comply with the Digital Markets Act, it would share NFC permissions related to contactless payments.

iOS 17.4 also adds 118 new Emoji expressions, including shaking head, nodding, lime, and phoenix.
