The new interface of iOS 19 is exposed, it’s amazing!

As we enter 2025, the update cycle of iOS 18 is already halfway through. If nothing unexpected happens, the next updates are expected to focus on AI functions, and there will probably not be any amazing new features.

The outside world has begun to look forward to the release of iOS 19 next year. According to foreign media reports, Apple is preparing for the research and development of iOS 19. Apple is expected to officially announce iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2025.

Due to the development process of Apple Intelligence, iOS 19 will not bring many new features.

Lock screen stickers

In recent years, Apple software updates have made multiple optimizations and updates to the lock screen and home screen, and previous restrictions have gradually been lifted. Therefore, @Oofus believes that in iOS 19, Apple will further optimize this feature.

Users can place patterns on the broken screen interface at will, and can also choose different wallpaper schemes.

Lingdong Island Photo Transmission

In the iOS 19 concept video, @Oofus also showed us a new feature of transferring photos through the Smart Island. Users only need to enter the album, long press the selected photo, and then drag it to the Smart Island position to quickly transfer the photo to another iPhone.

Apple Intelligence Update

Siri in iOS 19 will undergo a major upgrade, making it more conversational and able to understand and generate more natural, human-like language. The new version of Siri will be able to perform more complex tasks and provide assistance in a wider range of queries. This upgrade of Siri is called "LLM Siri" and is based on a large language model. It will exist as a standalone app and have a redesigned calling interface.

For example, when the interface stays on a photo, you can ask Siri when the photo was taken.

Of course, I have to remind you that the above content is purely conceptual and does not mean that Apple will make it a reality in the future.

It seems too early to discuss iOS 19 at the moment, because several important features promised in iOS 18 have not yet been released or even appeared in the developer beta. These features include artificial intelligence features such as "priority notifications" on the lock screen, "App Intents" for in-app actions, personal contextual understanding, and Siri's screen perception.
