Hubei Huanggang resumes normal medical services in an orderly manner

On March 10, the Huanggang City Epidemic Prevention and Control Command of Hubei Province issued Notice No. 23, stating that from March 11, the normal medical service order in Huanggang City will be restored in an orderly manner. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. The fever clinic of the Municipal Central Hospital has been moved to the Municipal Infectious Disease Hospital (address: No. 1, Xingang 1st Road, Huanggang District, Huanggang City).

2. Open common disease treatment areas. Six medical institutions, including the Municipal Central Hospital, Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Municipal Tuberculosis Prevention and Control Institute, Huangzhou District People's Hospital, and Huangzhou District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, will gradually open common disease treatment areas to provide general outpatient services and inpatient treatment for normal patients screened in the buffer zone to the residents of Huanggang city. Those who need hospitalization for common diseases must first be observed in the buffer zone for 3 days and undergo chest CT, nucleic acid testing, and serum testing. Only after the screening results are normal can they be transferred to the common disease treatment area for treatment. The opening status of each medical institution's diagnosis and treatment, service content and precautions should be made public in a timely manner to facilitate people's access to medical treatment. Other public medical institutions in Huanggang city are temporarily closed to provide medical services.

3. The Municipal Central Hospital, Municipal Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Huangzhou District People’s Hospital have set up green channels for emergency and critically ill patients.

4. All medical institutions in Huanggang City must conduct temperature checks on all people entering the hospital (including medical staff), and require them to wear masks correctly and perform hand hygiene disinfection. Anyone found to have a fever will be guided to the designated fever clinic for treatment.

5. All medical institutions in Huanggang urban area must strictly implement the real-name registration system for outpatient patients, promote non-emergency appointment registration and appointment examinations, guide patients to visit the hospital in different time periods, and reduce crowd gathering; strictly control the outpatient waiting area, implement "one person, one clinic, one room" to reduce the risk of cross-infection.

6. Strictly control inpatient wards. Patients are not allowed to leave the ward during their hospitalization, visitors are not allowed, and the flow of people is minimized. If an escort is required, the escort shall not exceed one and the escort shall be relatively fixed. The accompanying person must undergo relevant examinations and be tested to be normal before he or she can accompany the patient.
