As long as you master one of them, you can break the shackles of traffic. First, ranking. QQ group ranking, public account name article ranking, Baidu bidding, Zhihu question ranking... etc. It is known that there is a fixed search volume somewhere on the Internet, and we need to find ways to improve the ranking. Second, weight. In ByteDance, this thing is also called recommendation volume and traffic support, which complements the ranking. For example: You have a very good weight loss product and want to attract traffic to it on Toutiao, so you write a popular science article that can get a score of 7. Everything has a reason. I don’t write articles for charity, so I looked at the operating methods of my peers and put the contact information in a satisfactory position. But unfortunately, it was recognized by the system and confirmed as a marketing account. You believe that content is king, diligence can make up for lack of talent, and quantitative change leads to qualitative change, so you persist in publishing more than 100 articles. I just can't figure it out, they clearly left advertisements? They clearly have recommended amounts, right? Your colleague Ahua loves fitness, so I added you on WeChat but I don’t know what to do with her. We simply believe that no matter how small an individual is, they can create their own brand and stick to simply sharing tips on weight loss. The number of recommendations soared from 500 to 50,000, and all the related articles on Toutiao were hers. Advertisers also came to her, and she nervously left the advertisers' contact information while sending them her payment account number. You suddenly realize, isn’t this the popular article you saw at the beginning where you could leave your contact information? The purpose of this example is not to tell you to be pure in your work, but to put ranking and weight first, and then consider how much traffic can be converted. It is understandable that traffic comes first and then is converted. I have been doing audio traffic diversion for half a year, focusing on Himalaya , and have released nearly 200 audios. In the past two months, I have also achieved quite impressive results, with passive traffic diversion remaining stable at around 50 people per day. I would also like to share some of my experiences with you. 1. Why operate Himalaya? 1. Huge traffic Although it is not as good as apps like Tik Tok and Toutiao with hundreds of millions of DAU, a search on Baidu will reveal a terrifying statistic. Perhaps this data may be questionable, but it is not difficult to find that this is a fast-growing bonus platform that has been overlooked by the general public. 2. More friendly to beginners Compared to short videos, you don’t need shooting skills, you don’t need to learn video editing, and you don’t need to think about the script; compared to text platforms such as official accounts and Zhihu, you don’t need to learn writing, and you don’t have to worry too much about originality. 2. Himalaya’s recommendation mechanism In Himalaya, account authority, or weight and recommended traffic are all related to the account level. You must pay attention to this. This level is not the listening level, but the anchor level. It can be seen that the account level is related to various rights and interests. Of course, the rights and interests are not limited to these. Clicking the icon will also provide an introduction to various rights and interests. During the novice period, that is, when the account is at V1-V3 , you cannot post any content with an advertising nature, otherwise your account may be blocked. At V4-V6 , you can already start using traffic-generating advertising at this level, but the form of the advertising is in the language content. As for whether this content should be placed at the front or the back, it is up to the individual. I suggest putting it at the back. If you put it at the front, others may directly think that it is an advertisement. At V7-V8 , you can leave contact information in the album introduction, but it is best to use homophonic words. The higher the level, the more recommendations you get. The way to upgrade your level is to send voice content, and upgrading is very simple. 3. 5 points to note when creating content 1. Content format Since it is an audio platform, the content is naturally in the form of voice, so people with nice voices naturally have an advantage, and those with bad voices need to find a way to solve the problem themselves. 2. Content length Generally speaking, it is best to be within 10 minutes. I suggest about 5 minutes. It should not be too long or too short. If it is too long, people will not be able to listen and it will affect the completion rate. If it is too short, it will be difficult to explain things clearly. 3. Content related Generally speaking, we can make the content we want to output into an album, and you can divide the album into as many sections as you want, but just like a TV series, no matter how many sections you divide it into, the content in the same album must be related. For example, if I start a workplace-related album on Himalaya, then everything in this album must be related to the workplace, but I think this is not enough. If you want to do it well, you also need to be orderly. Just like when you narrate a story, if you start talking about another thing before finishing one thing, it will give people a feeling of disorganization and illogicality. 4. Content Quality Except for necessary interjections, don't pause like you normally do when speaking, such as "ah, um, well", so it's best to prepare the text in advance and then record it fluently. The content must be original. Originality is not just the sound you record yourself. The content should not involve copyright disputes. The official definition is infringement of others' privacy, reputation, and business secrets, and is reported to have infringed on intellectual property rights and has unclear copyright. 5. Content Source You can collect it from various platforms, such as Zhihu, official accounts, etc. Of course, you cannot look for content with copyright issues. Even if you find these contents, you need to make appropriate modifications, which is pseudo-original. After entering Himalaya, first read the platform regulations, which will provide detailed regulations for headlines, introductions, etc. Don’t be silly and not read anything, or you will be blocked without knowing the reason. There will be special requirements in the health field. There will be a tip icon when recording audio. It is highly recommended to watch it, which will be of great help to your work. 4. Final Just like making money, attracting traffic requires understanding the logic behind it.
