On July 5, 2023, five young people aged 16 or 17 from Hengxi Town, Yinzhou District, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province went to a pond to play. One of them accidentally fell into the deep water, and the other two failed to rescue him and drowned one after another. After receiving the report, Hengxi Town immediately organized rescue forces to carry out search and rescue, and rescued all three people who fell into the water and sent them to the hospital for emergency treatment as soon as possible. Unfortunately, they died after rescue failed.

On the evening of July 8, 2023, a 14-year-old student in Maoming, Guangdong, was driving an electric motorcycle without a license and license plate without wearing a safety helmet. He and his 7-year-old sister were driving in the opposite direction on the non-motorized vehicle lane from the intersection of Shanghe Village, Diancheng on G228 National Highway towards Magang Town. They were hit by a heavy-duty semi-trailer towed by a heavy-duty semi-trailer tractor. The accident caused the two of them to die on the spot.

On the morning of August 9, 2023, more than a dozen tourists were taking photos and checking in at Yulingba in Yucheng District, Ya'an, Sichuan Province when they encountered rising water. Many people were washed away, resulting in 7 deaths.

On July 3, 2022, a 5-year-old child fell from the 7th floor at home in a community in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. It is reported that the child's parents went out for something that day and left her alone at home. Unexpectedly, the girl climbed onto the windowsill and accidentally fell from the 7th floor. After examination, it was found that the child was seriously injured.
