Alipay: More than 400 county offices across the country have moved to "Citizen Centers" to handle affairs via mobile phones

More residents in counties and villages can now use their mobile phones to handle matters without leaving their homes. According to Alipay statistics, as of May 27, more than 400 counties across the country have set up "Digital Citizen Centers" on Alipay. Social security payments, housing fund checks, pension certification, etc. can be done online without having to go to the community.

IT Home learned that people can handle various livelihood services including provident fund, social security, medical insurance, entry and exit, traffic management, etc. by logging in through the "Citizen Center" entrance on the Alipay homepage or directly searching for a service in Alipay.

Alipay data shows that the top 10 provinces with the largest number of county-level "Digital Citizen Centers" are: Shandong, Zhejiang, Hunan, Henan, Hebei, Heilongjiang, Guangxi, Gansu, Jiangxi, and Guizhou. Shandong Province ranks first in the country in terms of number, and Zhejiang is the first to achieve 100% county coverage.

Previously, Alipay’s “City Services” was officially upgraded to “Citizen Center”, and more than 300 cities have established “Digital Citizen Centers”.
