First of all, how do we determine the essential needs of users? Let’s solve this through an example. For example, when a user searches for the top ten brands of LED lights, what he needs is not the top ten brands of LED lights, but the LED lights themselves, which are of high quality and low price. At this time, he didn't know whether that brand of LED lamp was good or not. He cannot search for LED lights of poor quality, so such a search is meaningless. That's why he searches for LED lamp brands and LED lamp product brands. After we know this basic need, we can’t just simply list the products. We want to tell users which products are of good quality through data comparison, and then list a price comparison. The second method we use is the ranking method, which tells users the importance and principles of issues, such as going to KTV to sing, or going to Kugou or QQ Music to listen to music. We have two types of people, one type of users knows what kind of songs they want to listen to, and the other type does not know what kind of songs they want to listen to. Then there are rankings to tell you what songs users are listening to. When I go to KTV, I will find that there is a song list with the most requested songs this month. This provides users with a very clear choice. Through such a solution, we can directly let users know what they want to know and solve their problems. We think about what users want by looking at the source of the problem, rather than solving the problem based on the problem. The second point: solving users’ further related needs. When users search for a product, they have further needs. For example, when a user searches for the price of a certain product, when they know how much it costs, such as how much it costs to open a clothing store, or how much it costs to open a Taobao store. In fact, it means that he is a novice and he doesn’t know how to open a store on Taobao. He not only needs to know how much it costs to open a store, he also needs the process of opening a store. At this time, we need to provide him with some links to solve the store opening process problems, which will improve the user experience. So we still have a lot of detailed knowledge to learn in the process of solving user experience. While we are in the process of solving this problem, our competitors will also imitate us to solve the user experience. So how should we solve this problem when our competitors imitate us? We will discuss this section in the next lesson. |
