Douyin e-commerce video publishing frequency limit description

Today, Douyin E-commerce released the "E-commerce Video Release Frequency Limitation Notice", emphasizing that in order to maintain the healthy platform ecology, the release frequency of e-commerce videos on the Douyin platform will be adjusted.

Specifically, on the Douyin platform, accounts with followers <1000 are limited to posting 1 e-commerce video per week; accounts with 1000≤ and <3000 followers are limited to posting 2 e-commerce videos per natural day; accounts with 3000≤ and <10000 followers are limited to posting 5 e-commerce videos per natural day; accounts with followers ≥10000 are limited to posting 10 e-commerce videos per natural day.

For Douyin boxes, accounts with less than 1,000 followers on the Douyin platform are limited to posting one e-commerce video per natural day on the Douyin box; accounts with ≥1,000 followers on the Douyin platform are limited to posting 20 e-commerce videos per natural day on the Douyin box.

It is worth noting that the frequency of publishing e-commerce videos on Douyin Box and Douyin platform is calculated separately and do not affect each other. The frequency of publishing e-commerce videos on Douyin Box is limited according to the number of fans of the Douyin platform account. On the Qianchuan platform, e-commerce videos are published as advertising materials, and the number of advertising materials in the form of e-commerce videos published is limited to 50 per natural day.

In addition, Douyin E-Commerce also explained the calculation of frequency deductions. Specifically, the frequency of deduction includes: if the video status is successfully released, including the e-commerce video that the creator successfully released as "private for self-view only", the release frequency will be deducted; if the e-commerce video related to pictures and texts is successfully released, the release frequency will be deducted;

For e-commerce videos that are scheduled for release, the release frequency will be deducted after submission (including the case where the video is pending before the release time); if the creator deletes the e-commerce video after it is successfully released, the release frequency will be deducted;

If the products added to the e-commerce videos on the Douyin platform and Douyin box are removed due to violations of the creators, video content, promoted products or the source stores of the products, the publishing frequency will still be calculated and the deducted frequency will not be restored.

The situations where the frequency will not be deducted include: e-commerce videos that have not been successfully published (including saved, draft status and failed publication), the publishing frequency will not be deducted; on the Qianchuan platform, if the products added to the e-commerce video are removed from the shelves due to violations of the creator, video content, promoted products or the source store of the products, the publishing frequency will not be calculated and the deducted frequency will be restored.
