  3. Attract new users and promote activation: Reach users as soon as possible, increase the brand exposure and distribution volume of the application, and meet your needs for attracting new users, promoting activation, and closing deals.
  4. Data export: supports querying, downloading and exporting the promotion data of each delivery task within a period of time, helping you analyze the promotion effect and optimize the strategy.

4. Brand resource bidding promotion operation process

“Create a new promotion task” > “Select the recommendation position type” > “Select the brand recommendation area” > “Select the delivery date” > “Determine the bid” > “Submit the bid” > “The bid is successful” > “Creative configuration” > “Submit for review” > “Launch promotion”.

4.1 Create a promotion task

4.1.1 Creating a Task

Go to the App Promotion Platform > Create a new promotion task ① to enter the Create a new promotion task interface.

4.1.2 Set general configuration for promotion tasks

Fill in the general configuration and set the basic information of the promotion task:

  1. Recommendation position type: For example, in ②, select "Brand Recommendation Area", and the promotion task will promote your app in the focus pictures and clover of the home page and category pages.
  2. Brand recommendation area selection: As shown in ③, the available resource positions include the homepage focus image, homepage clover, category page focus image and pagination category clover. Select the corresponding resource position in the drop-down box according to your needs. Such as the P1 position of the focus picture on the home page and the P1-1 position of the two-leaf clover on the home page.
  3. Download production instructions: As shown in ④, click to start downloading the production specification documents for each resource location.

  1. Select the delivery date: As in ⑤, select the date you need to deliver. After confirmation, the system will display the corresponding bidding end time.
  2. Bidding: As shown in ⑥, after you confirm the bid, the system will display the current bidding status, current price, bid increment and the lowest bid data for your reference. Within five minutes before the end of the auction, each time the current highest bid is surpassed, the auction end time will be postponed by five minutes.
  3. View bidding records: As shown in ⑦, a pop-up box of bidding records will appear after clicking:

  1. Automatic bid increase: As shown in ⑧, "Automatic bid increase" means that when your bid is surpassed during system bidding, the system will automatically help you increase your bid. The system will increase the bid according to the bid increase range, and the highest bid will not exceed the highest bid you set. Please note that this maximum bid amount will be frozen when you are leading. The frozen amount cannot be used for CPD tasks. Please make sure that you have sufficient balance in your account.

  1. Submit bid: As in step 9, after completing the resource selection and bidding, check the box that says you agree to the Huawei AppGallery Brand Resource Bidding Promotion Service Rules and click Submit Bid. Material configuration can be submitted after the bidding ends.

  1. Reminder settings: As shown in ⑩, click to enter the reminder settings page to enable mobile phone or email reminders for being outbid, winning resources, and insufficient account balance.

  1. Material configuration: As in step ⑪, after successfully winning the resources at the end of the bidding, enter the task interface to upload the delivery materials. Please submit promotional materials and have them reviewed by Huawei 3 working days before the task is executed. If a portrait is used in the image, please upload the corresponding certification qualifications. If there are multiple materials, please upload them in a package. The file size should not exceed 20M. Please download the material production instructions from the resource section and strictly follow the production specifications to produce promotional materials.

Q1 How to start brand resource bidding promotion?

Q2 What are the available resource positions?
A

Currently, the promotional positions suitable for brand promotion are the focus picture and two-leaf clovers on the homepage, and the focus picture and two-leaf clovers of the categories.

Q3 How is the duration of brand resource bidding calculated?
A

Only one day can be selected for each promotion task, and the delivery time starts from 0:00 on the same day and ends at 23:59.

Q4 Can I bid for multiple days of resources at one time?
A

Each task lasts for 1 day. If the application needs to be delivered for several days, continuous bidding will be required in the background. A single application can bid for the same resource for a maximum of 3 days within the available bidding cycle.

Q5 How to conduct bidding?
A

The bid will be increased based on the lowest bid according to the increase range. The current bid must not be lower than the previous bid. If the balance in your account is less than your bid, please recharge first to ensure that there is enough money in your account, otherwise the price cannot be increased.

In order not to affect the delivery of this task, please ensure that the materials are uploaded and passed the review before the delivery date. Q9 How to modify brand promotion tasks?
A

For tasks with a leading bid, you are not allowed to enter and modify the task. Tasks that are lagging behind in bidding can modify their bids.

Q10 How to cancel brand promotion tasks?
A

The brand promotion task can only be canceled in the "bidding - behind" stage. In the "review passed" and "execution" stages, you can click the execute button to change to the pause state, or click to change to the "execution" state in the pause state. In other states, you cannot click the pause/enable button.
