Recently, Tesla’s official website has taken down the “Confidence Guarantee Plan”. It is understood that the “Confidence Guarantee Plan” is similar to the 7-day no-reason return and exchange policy of e-commerce websites. After consumers purchase a Tesla car, as long as the vehicle is not damaged and the mileage does not exceed 1,600 kilometers, they can return or exchange the car within 7 days without reason.

Although Tesla has not responded to the cancellation of this policy, industry analysts said that the reason why Tesla chose to cancel the "Confidence Guarantee Plan" may be because Tesla cars have frequently cut prices in China, resulting in many car owners returning their cars.

From the user's perspective, after the "Confidence Guarantee Plan" is taken offline, not only do consumers have no "right to regret", but they also have to bear the risk of paying more costs after Tesla's price cut. Presumably, Tesla's move will suppress consumers' desire to buy in the short term.
